Primitive camping is provided by The Charleston Woodlands and is conveniently located within 200 yards of the main stage gates and extends throughout the festival grounds along “Palmetto Lake”. A designated Quiet Camping area will also be provided within Primitive camping. Upon Friday arrival primitive campers will drive in a a short 1/4 of a mile off of highway 61 with their vehicle to a designated drop zone at the festival site. Primitive campers will unload their gear and pick a campsite. Once unloaded, the driver and vehicle will return to the parking area at the front of the property and then take the short walk back to the festival site (1/4 mile). Saturday Load-In will have designated drop-off hours so that we keep the festival grounds as car free and safe as possible throughout the weekend.
Additional upgrades to tickets provided by Charleston Woodlands and can be purchased as add-ons through the above ticket link. Admission to the festival is not included with camping upgrades; festival admission tickets must be purchased in addition to any camping upgrades.
CAR CAMPING ON Lake Charleston:
Campers will enjoy spectacular waterfront campsites on Lake Charleston. Located within a 5 minute walk to the festival grounds, Lake Charleston provides campers both convenience and a remote experience in nature. Campsites are ~ 20×20 and are limited to (1) vehicle which must remain parked throughout the weekend. Price $140
RV CAMPING AT LAKE CHARLESTON:
Campers will enjoy beautiful lakefront camping while only being a short walk to the festival grounds. Each campsite is ~ 25×40 and is allowed (1) vehicle, (1) RV or pull behind trailer which must remain parked throughout the weekend. Campsites do not include power or water and tow vehicle must fit into allotted space or moved to the alternate parking lot. Price $250
DELUXE CAMPING PACKAGE:
This package is perfect for those looking to camp close to the action without all of the hassle of bringing camping gear. Each campsite is set on the edge of Palmetto Point and includes a Charleston Woodlands Elevated Tent. Each Elevated Tent comes ready to go with solar lights and air mattresses. Simply bring pillows and bedding and you are good to go! Each campsite is 20×30 and is allowed (1) vehicle which must remain parked throughout the weekend. SOLD OUT
RV CAMPING IN BAILEY’S FIELD:
This camping option is for those looking to enjoy the festivities while also having the option to break away for some peace and quiet in nature. Campers have access to a complimentary shuttle to and from the festival grounds. Each campsite is allowed (1) vehicle, and/or (1) RV or pull behind trailer. Tow vehicle must fit into allotted space or be moved to the alternate parking lot. Price $200 • w/ Electrical Hookup Price $350
- Campers are welcome to bring bikes, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards.
- Portable restrooms are provided and hand wash stations. There are no showers or water.
- Fires are allowed, only in raised fire pits. No fires on the ground, no digging holes. Campers are welcome to bring their own fire pits.
- No outside firewood (Firewood is provided on a first come first served basis) Festival goers can also gather down wood on site.
- No reentry after 11pm
